At PQI, we harness the power of data to improve player experiences across our games. As an Expert Data Analyst, you won't just report on metrics—you'll shape product strategy, influence game design and lead innovation. You'll work with developers, designers, researchers, and product leaders to uncover meaningful insights into player behaviour and quality signals, ensuring our games resonate with players around the world. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility to work remotely or on-site, depending on project needs. You'll be part of a passionate, collaborative team that values curiosity, creativity, and impact. This role will be reporting to Director, PQI Data.
What You'll Do
- Lead the analytical strategy for important game features and player experience projects, aligning insights with product vision and team goals.
- Design and implement advanced frameworks to evaluate player behaviour, feedback systems, and quality metrics across multiple titles.
- Mentor analysts across the team, promoting excellence in data storytelling, experimentation, and visualisation.
- Partner with game teams, UX researchers, and product managers to translate insights into relevant decisions.
- Build scalable data pipelines and dashboards that support real-time decision-making and long-term planning.
- Champion data quality, governance, and ethical use of player data across all analytics efforts.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years in data analytics, with proven experience in gaming, tech, or consumer insights.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics)
- Expertise in statistical modelling, experimental design, and behavioural analytics.
- Advanced SQL experience working with complex datasets.
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and dashboard design.
- Bonus: Experience with Python or R, machine learning techniques, or real-time analytics platforms.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
