EA SPORTS F1 - Franchise Activation Intern


Contract: 12 months Internship

Location: Guildford, UK

The Challenge Ahead


The future of entertainment is interactive, and our Marketing team plays an important role in this future by building content, culture, and community around our brands. We empower audiences to Play, Create, Watch, and Connect across our amazing franchises and experiences, including The Sims, Madden NFL, EA SPORTS FC, Apex Legends, and Battlefield. We’re a multi-functional group with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and positioning our franchises at the center of the broader sports and entertainment ecosystem.


We are looking for an enthusiastic student to join the EA SPORTS Franchise Activation team, supporting the team in launching EA SPORTS F1’s next title. You'll gain hands-on experience in marketing activations within the video game industry, working with a small but dynamic team to deliver campaigns for one of the world's most exciting sports entertainment franchises. This role is perfect for someone passionate about motorsport, gaming, and building a career in marketing.


Responsibilities:


  • You will help coordinate global campaigns for EA SPORTS Formula One

  • You will work with Creative, Production, Digital Merchandising and Paid Media teams to help deliver impactful campaigns

  • You will support market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring to support recommendations

  • You will aid in campaign reporting, performance analysis, and presentation development

  • You will contribute creative ideas to projects and team meetings

  • You will provide general administrative and project management support


Eligibility:


  • You are currently studying in the penultimate year of undergraduate bachelor degree with a planned placement year.

  • You are available to commence a full-time 12 month placement in July 2026.

  • You are eligible to work in the UK without additional visa or relocation support.

  • You are available to work from a minimum of 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).


Skills:


  • Passion or interest in Formula One, sports, gaming, and entertainment

  • Enthusiasm, organisation and drive to manage dynamic workload and deadlines.

  • Written and verbal communication skills

  • Find creative solutions and be motivated by opportunities for learning and growth.

  • Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube).
