EA Korea Studio

We are EA's game development studio based in Seoul, known for the FIFA Online series, a AAA sports game, as well as Need for Speed Online and MLB Online. Going beyond localizing global-scale games, we are on our journey to become an all-round game developer and lead a new trend in the gaming industry. Our mission is to inspire the world to Play!

EA Korea Studio, armed with its unparalleled development capability for authentic graphic and diverse content that reflects lifelike football experience, is a large development organization in which Game Designers, Artists, Software Engineers, Development Directors, and Producers work together throughout the entire game development process, from production to live service.

You will be reporting to the development director.


Responsibilities

  • You will design and implement server-side features of a real-time scalable game.
  • You will ensure stability of several back-end services.
  • You will investigate and response to issues arising in the live environment.
  • You will operate a large-scale Kubernetes group in multiple countries.


Qualifications

  • 7+ relevant years of experience 
  • Degree in Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in using Node.js and JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Microservice Architecture and RESTful API
  • Experience developing or operating using NoSQL or RDBMS
  • Experience developing in Linux environment
