FC Esports League Operations Internship 


Contract: Intern (12 months - Intern)

Location: Stratford London, UK

The Challenge Ahead

Esports is an incredible way to engage EA SPORTS FC fans around the globe.  As we build a strong program, integrating EA run competition and key licensed league partners, we need to ensure we are creating fun, safe and fair competition for players and great experiences for fans to engage with. As a FC Esports League Operations intern, you will have the ability to help create those epic experiences.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of esports leagues and tournaments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operation of events and event planning.
  • Support player and team management including communication, registration, and compliance.
  • Help in the production and distribution of tournament-related materials and broadcasts.
  • Conduct market and industry research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Handle data entry and analysis related to player performance and tournament results.

 

Qualifications:

  • You are studying in the penultimate year of an undergraduate Bachelor's Degree programme.
  • You are available to commence a full-time, 12 month placement in July 2025.
  • You are eligible to work in the UK without the need for visa/relocation support

 

Desired Skills:

  • Strong interest in and knowledge of esports and the gaming industry.
  • Some experience in event planning, sports management, or esports.
  • Familiarity with esports titles and platforms, including EA SPORTS FC and EA Sports FC Pro
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and 
  • Knowledge in Project Management tools (e.g. Trello, Asana).
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage data.
  • Ability to work under pressure and solve problems in real time.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
