Role Overview
Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides strategic and financial partnership to EA's Leadership team. We achieve this through engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, provide strategic decision support, and deliver insights to guide EA's performance.
We are looking for a proactive and passionate analyst to join the Ventures & BCI FP&A team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the Ventures & BCI FP&A Team and their respective Business Partners and work in a hybrid work model.
What You'll Do
• Partner effectively with our FP&A team, business partners, and cross functional partners.
• Support financial reviews with budget owners for annual plan, forecast, and month-end close activities.
• Ensure up-to-date forecast revisions, including variance investigation (revenue through margin and marketing).
• Prepare and present business & financial reviews for leaders, focusing on storytelling with clear insights and actionable material.
• Ensure compliance with EA's policies and procedures.
Experience and Technical Skills
• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of related financial experience.
• Experience communicating analytical findings for a range of audiences.
• Proficiency in accounting and general GAAP knowledge.
• MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise.
• Knowledge of Anaplan, Power BI, and Oracle or similar systems
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
