EA SPORTS FC Mobile Shanghai is a global team devoted to developing and operating a high-quality mobile football game experience. Location: Shanghai, China

Reports to: Technical Director


Responsibilities:

  • You will use our in-house game engine for game development, building upon the foundation of our current engine to enhance its functionality and performance.

  • You will work with designers, artists, content creators and other engineers to designated develop game features

  • You will research mobile platform engine frameworks and essential infrastructure and technologies.

  • You will optimize game performance for multiple publishing platforms.

  • You will develop new tools and improve existing ones based on our existing toolchain.

  • You will identify performance bottlenecks within games and improve them, while following artistic quality requirements.

  • You will help create technical specifications and software architecture documents.


Qualifications:

  • Over 5 years of experience in game client development.

  • Proficiency in C/C++, and programming and debugging skills related to relevant tools. Familiar with C#,Python, LUA, Database and use P4 or Git in daily development.

  • Experience with a commercial game engine such as Unreal or Unity.

  • Experience in engine-related tool development and game engine optimization.

  • Experience in mobile Android and iOS platform development and debugging.

  • Good at communication and ability to collaborate within a team.

  • Good technical design ability.
