Game Design Intern
Contract: 6-month Internship
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Responsibilities:
You will work with our “engagement” game design team to shape the Battlefield experience. You will report to the Design Director and collaborate with us to deliver engaging progression, customization, and social features for millions of players.
You will implement progression ranks, item rewards, and quests using the Frostbite Engine and EA's proprietary tools.
You will learn and apply DICE's production workflows in a live development environment with our design team.
You will document your design work and communicate requirements to partners across disciplines.
You will collaborate with us to refine progression systems and ensure features align with Battlefield's vision.
Skills:
Familiarity with the Battlefield franchise.
Understanding of the best practices among progression systems.
Experience working with game engines
Experience documenting design intent and technical requirements for projects.
Eligibility:
You must be currently enrolled at university or education provider with a planned internship period planned into the education plan, (e.g. LiA)
You are eligible to work in Stockholm, Sweden, without the need for visa/relocation support
You are available to commence a full-time 6 month placement in September 2026.
