Role Overview

We’re looking for a Game Designer I to help craft engaging game content and features and support the delivery of high-quality live ops experiences for our players. In this role, you will own small to mid-sized assignments, collaborate across disciplines, and contribute to shaping the systems, content, and experiences that bring our game to life in a live-service environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and deliver content, features, and live ops elements, proactively identifying risks and blockers.
  • Partner with leads to ensure clear goals, requirements, and alignment with the overall design vision.
  • Break down ideas into actionable tasks and maintain clear, comprehensive design documentation.
  • Build, tune, and implement content and features using engine tools and Game Data structures.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, art, product, and QA teams throughout development.
  • Support iteration through playtests, feedback loops, UX reviews, and tuning passes.
  • Contribute to live operations by designing events, pacing experiences, and integrating player feedback.
  • Research competitive titles and share insights that help elevate our content, features, and live ops direction.
  • Balance content and systems using metrics, telemetry, and qualitative playtest feedback.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of game design experience.
  • Experience working on mobile F2P games from concept through live service.
  • Proficiency in at least one core design/content domain, with developing skills across features, systems, or live ops.
  • Ability to prototype, tune, and iterate content and features to meet design goals and KPIs.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Game Data systems, internal tools, and design-to-engineering workflows.
  • Understanding of player motivations, pacing, game balance, and live-service content expectations.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working on content for Strategy genre games is a strong plus.
