Role -  Game Designer II (Covet Fashion)

Location – EA Hyderabad

We are seeking a Game Designer II to become an essential part of our Covet Fashion Live Ops team and function as a Live Service Lead. In this role, you'll assist the Development Directors, Producers in executing LiveOps campaigns in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include executing LiveOps strategies to boost player engagement, retention, and monetization. You will report to Game Design Director/ Project Director.

 

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of our live-ops execution to optimize player engagement, retention, and monetization.

Proactively engage in individual contributor tasks as necessary to ensure timely and successful delivery of daily content.

Collaborate with the North American leadership team to translate fiscal targets into actionable plans and initiatives.

Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement event strategies to improve overall player experience.

Be an advocate for our active player community and continuously enhancing in-game content.

Responsible for keeping documents updated.

 

Management

Manage Live Service Designers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of game assets and foster a culture of open communication and collaboration.

Communicate with external teams and leadership on the status of large campaigns and initiatives.

Communicate up and across within the Covet team on production updates and strategy changes.

 

Qualifications

BA/ BS degree

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Possesses analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

Excellent project management and organizational skills. Proficient with development planning tools like Jaas, Confluence, etc.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Office and Google suites.

Proven experience of 5+ years in live operations or similar roles within the mobile gaming industry.

Passion for mobile games and a deep understanding of player behavior.

Well-versed in global current pop cultures, lifestyle, and fashion trends.

Possess a deep understanding and appreciation of various cultures, along with an awareness of cultural sensitivities.

Having a background in fashion is a plus.
