Product Management Roles & Responsibilities:

The Product Manager rolls into the Product Management function within EA and is a key element of the Game Atomic Unit - the core unit that builds the game. Building games involves a healthy balance between Art & Science and the Product Manager should be able to affect change through data driven decision making and collaboration within the larger team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The ability to understand the problems and issues our games and business aim to solve, and then define the right data, analysis, or interpretation to lead to the correct recommendations and decisions.
  • Monitor core KPIs in real-time to diagnose and triage issues with the game.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and AB-tests, then work with development teams to ensure proper implementation and tracking.
  • Develop an analysis strategy and perform analysis of complex scenarios and AB-tests, both systematically and on a one-off basis.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to influence the product roadmap, author feature specifications, and maintain the product feature backlog.
  • Help us overcome technical hurdles to bring new, innovative products to improve monetization and market them at scale.
  • Player behavior: Understanding the players’ motivations is key to designing valuable tests and interpreting results.

 

Must have:

  1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

 

 

 

Good to have:

  1. Familiarity with product management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  2. SQL: The ability to write complex SQL queries to analyze our databases
  3. Analytical coding: Using tools such as R, Python (and also Excel) for analytical purposes

 

Location: Hyderabad (In office)

Duration: 8- 10 weeks (8 weeks is minimum)
