Electronic Arts creates next-level entertainment experiences that inspire players and fans around the world. Here, everyone is part of the story. Part of a community that connects across the globe. A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

The GameKit Solutions Engineer II will report to the Manager, Gamekit Ops Solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Engineer the Foundation of Great Games: You will design and implement automation-first solutions that eliminate friction for developers working on EA's biggest and boldest game titles. Your work enables us to move faster, reduce manual work, and deliver more.

  • Design for Visibility and Readiness: You will create unified observability platforms using tools like Python, PostgreSQL, and Azure. These systems help surface issues early, ensure Service level agreements are met, and give team members the insights they need to move forward.

  • Resolve What Others Escalate: You will be the senior technical escalation point for complex pre-launch integration and tooling issues. Apply deep technical understanding and fast decision-making to unblock teams during their most important milestones.

  • Make Best Practices the Default: You will contribute to internal runbooks, architectural designs, and reusable patterns that embed into every part of the delivery pipeline.

  • Partner for Excellence: You will partner with Workflow Customer Support Specialists, Technical Leads, and Process Architects to align tools and infrastructure with EA's evolving production needs.

Qualifications:

  • 7 or more years of experience in systems integration, platform engineering, or DevOps with a focus on developer productivity and automation.

  • Expertise in Python and experience with containerized applications and cloud-native platforms.

  • Experienced in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.

  • Collaborate across product, engineering, and process teams to align architecture with operational goals.

  • Prior experience supporting AAA game development or shipping large software projects.

You will be working hybrid from our Bucharest Office.
