Guildford(UK), Hybrid - 3 Days per week onsite

The Global Event Security Manager will report to the Senior Manager for Global Events.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for end-to-end security planning for large-scale company events.

  • Conduct comprehensive risk reviews and threat assessments.

  • Develop written security plans, SOPs, post orders and incident playbooks.

  • Develop incident response frameworks, incident escalations and emergency communication standards and procedures.

  • Deliver daily operational briefings and summaries.

  • Manage guard force operations to include vendor evaluation and selection.

  • Develop and implement event security strategies and risk mitigation plans

  • Support Regional Senior Managers in building regional events

  • Ensure agreement on regional regulations and cultural considerations

  • Communicate with venue security contacts, local law endorsement and emergency response personnel.

  • Conduct risk assessments for planned events and define mitigation strategies.

  • Ensure security is embedded as an enabler in event planning.

  • Align security and the event experience by serving as the central liaison between important partners.

  • Experience managing contractor/ 3rd party security vendors, risk management and insurance processes.

  • Experience with global risk, compliance, and regulatory environments.

  • Produce post event after action report, measurements and lessons learned.

  • Provide comprehensive security briefings to internal/ external partners

  • Experience working in international or culturally diverse environments.

  • Travel Internationally to support global events. Expected travel 50% of time

Qualifications:

  • 7+ year in a similar role with a federal, state or local law enforcement agency or multinational corporation.

  • 4+ years experience leading teams for special events

  • Background in risk management, compliance, and event security planning

  • Experience supporting large-scale events

  • Experience managing contracted and 3rd party security personnel

  • Background in strategic leadership with operational execution, risk assessment

  • International experience working across diverse regions

  • Proficiency in other languages
