We are seeking a Telecom Expense Manager specializing administering our fixed telecom inventory. You will manage the full life cycle or EA's fixed telecom inventory, develop analytical reports and manage internal customer support. You will also support invoice management, dispute resolution and product/ service optimization efforts. You will also help with contract and rate compliance, and policy development projects. You will report to the Senior Network and Transport Manager. This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.

Responsibilities:

  • You will manage and operate EA's global telecom expense management platform, Sakon.

  • You will audit invoices to eliminate vendor billing errors, ensure rate compliance, and identify savings opportunities.

  • You will oversee procurement processes; creation of Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders for required services.

  • You will ensure that all contractual terminations, upgrades, and new installations are recorded in EA's MACD tool, which integrates with Sakon to track and verify invoice accuracy.

  • You will create monthly reporting to aid with fiscal year forecasting, budget variance against forecasts.

  • You will collaborate directly with carrier partner representatives to resolve payments and billing disputes.

  • You will partner with Accounts Payable and IT purchasing team to resolve queries related to departmental spend.

  • You will explain complex financial and telecom concepts to non-expert team members.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience using Oracle Procurement.

  • 5 years experience working with global circuit providers.

  • 5 years experience negotiating with service providers to secure best rates and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • 5 years experience documenting Telecom Expense Management operational processes.

  • Experience using Sakon Telecom Platform is a bonus.

  • Certified Telecommunications Expense Management (CTEMP) credential is a bonus
