The Release Manager is a part of the Global Operations organization for delivering EA's franchises to market across all video game platforms. As a member of Global Operations, you will report to the Senior Manager and you will manage the delivery of content materials for EA's products to our supported Console and PC platform partners. We support hybrid work of 3 working days per week in the local EA office. 

You will work with essential internal EA teams (Planning & Readiness, Store Operations, Technical Account Managers, Release Management (RM), Compliance & Certification, Commercial, Studio & QA) to ensure the efficient release of EA’s content on supported platforms.



Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the submission process with the global RM teams, ensuring all activities are performed following a high standard of quality & punctuality on a targeted Console or PC platform

  • Maintain an overall understanding of product schedules and requirements on a global scale, alerting leadership when processes are compromised, or product releases are at risk

  • Support efficient use of the required tools, working with essential partners to ensure the most efficient workflow/process is implemented. Educate and train colleagues on tools, and inspire change to ensure submission processes are error free all while ensuring that tasks are maintained and updated.

  • Partner with colleagues to facilitate efficient internal communication and end of day hand-off of essential projects, maximizing the efficacy of our global team

  • Communicate & escalate problem trends, submissions-related news from First Party partners, helping all partner teams remain empowered to succeed

  • Facilitate interactions with external operations partners, discussing failure points, looking for official waivers to requirements, and making priority requests, helping safeguard EA’s relationship and business by denying damaging courses of action.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in product submissions, software configurations, platform setups, or equivalent in a comparable industry

  • Knowledge of the technical requirements of at least one console/gaming/retail manufacturer and associated tools/portal or equivalent in a comparable industry

  • Experience managing and working in a diverse environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $73,200 - $101,700 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
