The EA SPORTS NHL, UFC and Racing team is looking for a Graphic Designer to help us shape the future of our brands and marketing campaigns. You are someone who is inspired by sports and culture, and who loves hockey, fighting and racing just as much as they love creating amazing work. As part of our global group of creatives, brand marketers, strategists, technologists, channel experts and producers, we define the steel threads that guide campaigns and consumer-facing content across our ecosystem.

This is a high-energy, collaborative team where quick learners who aren’t afraid to ask questions will excel. In this dream role you’ll work across creative campaigns for EA SPORTS NHL, UFC and Racing franchises, working with the Design Director and Group Creative Director.

You have a track record working with globally recognized brands in organizations that expect nothing less than A+ work. Additionally, this you should excel in a collaborative environment, adapt well to a constantly evolving industry, have practical knowledge of brand and digital design, and carry positive energy that benefits the greater team.

Your responsibility, with guidance from senior leaders, is to use your experience with design, and storytelling to create work for use in advertising, social media, and branding.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Design Director to design best-in-class assets that are at the foundation of our franchise Brand Design Systems, including logos, visual identities, digital media, templates for social and retail channels, presentations, packaging and style guides

  • Well-versed in developing and maintaining brand style guidelines across all platforms for a cohesive brand experience

  • Ensure that creative complies with brand, platform, and licensor guidelines and industry-standard specs

  • Create assets for custom campaigns under the direction of the Design Director

  • Partner with production and social teams to uphold our visual look, feel and messaging across multiple brand and product level campaigns

  • Develop creative presentations for all partners to gain alignment of our concepts and ideas

  • Collaborate with our CFX partner teams to create stories and content across our owned and partner channels

  • Work in a hands-on environment that requires flexibility, imagination, a can-do attitude, a sense of fun, and the desire to learn and grow

Experience:

  • Minimum 3+ years design experience at an agency or internal marketing team

  • Detail oriented, keen eye for spotting errors, inconsistencies, and subtle differences

  • Ability to design from concept to execution in service of brand, retail, paid and owned channels targeting a range of player audiences

  • Ability to present creative work, absorb feedback in a positive manner, and execute against required changes

  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines and adapt to the fast-paced environment of the sports industry

  • Advanced skills in Adobe programs including Photoshop and Illustrator, basic skills of After Effects and InDesign. including Google Drive.

  • Hockey, Fighting and Racing knowledge or video game experience

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $73,200 - $101,700 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
