The Regional HR Associates plays a vital role in delivering seamless, compliant, and employee-centric HR support across Malaysia, Singapore, and Japan. This position ensures operational excellence across the employee lifecycle while partnering closely with regional and global People Experience (PE) teams to drive consistency, compliance, and great employee experiences. 


About The Role

  • Monitor and uphold compliance with relevant statutory requirements and local labour legislation.
  • Partner with the Payroll team to manage monthly changes, ensure compliance, and resolve related issues, including compiling inputs for hires and leavers.
  • Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records in Workday, support leave and policy management, handle reporting needs, and assist with audits and data quality checks.
  • Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle by coordinating onboarding, transfers, offboarding, and inductions, monitoring probation and addressing employee and manager inquiries with appropriate escalation.
  • Facilitate employee mobility and visa processes, including applications, renewals, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Coordinate benefits enrolments, renewals, terminations, and claim inquiries, liaising with brokers and the Global Benefits Team.
  • Provide day-to-day HR operational support, manage HR initiatives and employee feedback, coordinate invoices with Finance and vendors, and produce HR analytics and standard reports.
  • Partner with the Total Reward Shared Services team as needed to support processes and ensure positive employee experience.
  • Collaborate with People Partners and PE Operations to identify processes and activities that could be automated or transitioned to PE Operations/PE Shared Services.
  • Participate fully in transition projects, supporting process documentation and improvement, communication and ensuring maintained or improved employee experiences.

About You 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years in HR coordination/operations in multinational environments or technology sectors.
  • Work across diverse populations and geographies.
  • HRIS proficiency (Workday required). Familiar with case management tools (ideally ServiceNow) and Google Workspace.
  • Comfortable with Shared Services transitions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, written communication, and process discipline.
