We’re looking for a highly skilled  Build & Release Engineer who will embrace our culture and share their hard earned expertise to make and deliver builds to internal and external parties, and ensure that releases go smoothly.

What you’ll do…
  • Assist with and drive the development and orchestration of deployment workflows as well as performing deployments.
  • Develop and improve the technical build pipeline in C# and Groovy that automates and drives the build system and other related tooling
  • Work as a technical liaison with development teams to address build issues and improvements.
  • Collaborate across domain teams and QA on releases/updates and patches
  • Support our integration process, emergent work and deployments
  • Assist in maintaining industry best practices in DevOps and CI through good coding practices and participating in code reviews
Ideally, you will have…
  • Previous experience in build engineering, working with consoles and first parties in a AAA games studio
  • Programming experience in C#/Java/OOP
  • Scripting and automation skills in one or more of Groovy, Python, bash, or similar.
  • Experience with automated build systems such as Jenkins, TeamCity or equivalent.
  • Experience with Perforce or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Other qualities we look for…
  • Experience with Ansible and VMWare
  • Experience working with GAAS or regular title updates
  • Experience with the ADX or equivalent
  • Experience with JIRA or equivalent.
  • Must be self-driven and a team player with a solid work ethic.
  • Passion for games.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working with next gen game consoles

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
    • $140,700 - $204,700 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
