Our Marketing Team at large exists to tell the story of Electronic Arts and expand the positive power of play. Creators The Lead Web Producer, which sits within the Ventures - Creators Content team, reports to the Director, Digital Experiences Producer - Campaigns. Your remit includes partnering with passionate, cross-functional teams ito bring unique web content to life for players around the world. You will be focused on engaging players on our games pages on the web and play an instrumental part of pushing boundaries to the future Creator Marketplace and beyond. We aim to understand the audience so we can more effectively serve up content that brings joy to players. Using UX research, SEO techniques, and real-time user behavior, we can update how our content is surfaced quickly - based on data. And as we get more data/examples, our experiments will become more focused with higher positive outcomes. A list of specific responsibilities and qualifications for this role can be found below. 

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with your franchise leads and propose solutions to identified gaps and insights in early discussions with channel strategy, creative, and brand/studio. You will advocate for commitment to a full web live service proposal that uses our experience/insight. Partners will use this document to contribute content, player journey maps, specific marketing beat goals, and other planning materials.
  • You will run a team with Content Managers collectively responsible for the digital publishing for websites for a set of franchises/titles. You will be the connective tissue bringing these Content Managers, fellow Web Producers, wider Creator teams, and key marketing partners together to ensure decisions are understood and aligned.
  • Drive transparency and engagement with internal Creator teams including LT and franchise partners to ensure decisions are understood and aligned.
  • You will balance the daily content/live service publishing needs while collaborating with internal platform and strategy teams on identifying gaps/new features, opportunities arising during the lifecycle, and platform transitions. 

Qualifications:

  • Technical skills 
    • Understand the video game industry, with a desire to understand why and how fans react to creative content within this space.
    • Ability to explain why the site is behaving in a certain way supported by evidence, and provide recommendations on how best to optimize content with prompt performance feedback loops.
    • Knowledge of project management tools like Airtable, JIRA/JaaS and the ability to align those systems with fellow Web Producers, Content Managers, the production team, and partners.
  • Soft skills 
    • Ability to inspire and communicate with all levels, including Sr Managers and Directors.
    • Comfort collaborating with a diverse group of peers and colleagues spread out across multiple nations, time zones, and cultures. 

Other qualifications 

  • 2-3+ years experience leading medium scale projects from scope definition to material deliverables and key milestones.
  • 4-year college graduate with a background in business or technical field OR 2+ years of professional experience in web editorial and web publishing, digital content management, digital operations, or related domain space.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise content management systems, design systems, consumer-facing products, and multi-destination publishing platforms (create once, publish everywhere).
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other web technologies. 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $89,300 - $123,000 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
