Studio: Create APAC

EA Create APAC is a highly engaged content creation team within EA Worldwide Studios. We are creatively motivated and focused on high-end visual production across multiple genres and art styles. Working with game team partners around the world, we deliver consistent, high-quality content that supports product goals, visual standards, and player experience. We are looking for pioneers who can take clear ownership, solve production challenges, and deliver measurable results in a fast-growing studio environment.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

  • You will report to APAC studio leadership and be responsible for delivering final map visuals for an EA franchise, meeting agreed quality bars, milestone expectations, and technical requirements.
  • Working with the team, you will contribute to visual direction, validate concepts through clear benchmarks, and execute assigned scope from planning through final delivery. You are expected to make clear commitments, track progress against those commitments, and complete agreed deliverables on time and to quality.
  • You will communicate closely with project leadership and craft leadership to ensure alignment with game design, visual direction, production priorities, and overall product goals.
  • Bring assigned levels through each development phase, from concept and blockout support to production, polish, bug fixing, and final quality validation.
  •  Proactively communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and blockers with stakeholders through regular updates, reviews, and milestone check-ins.
  • Identify and address risks, dependencies, and constraints related to level art, environment quality, performance, and gameplay readability while maintaining AAA quality standards.
  •  Incorporate feedback from leadership reviews, research, playtest data, and design input to improve multiplayer readability, navigation, cover quality, and overall player experience.
  • Provide and receive feedback in a constructive and solution-focused manner, with clear suggestions for improving tools, workflows, processes, and final in-game quality.

 

Qualifications:

You have shipped at least one AAA title, have 5+ years of professional level art experience, and can demonstrate the following:

  • Experience working on multiplayer shooter games as a level artist and/or strong practical understanding as an active player.
  • Strong layout, composition, environment creation, set dressing, and gameplay readability skills, supported by portfolio examples or shipped work.
  • Familiarity with advanced game engines and the ability to work within technical constraints, performance budgets, and established production pipelines.
  • Ability to work with internal and external partners to implement an approved visual direction and deliver assets or level areas to defined quality standards.
  • Strong interest in environmental aesthetics, including mood, lighting, material language, composition, storytelling, and player navigation.
  • Ability to break down assigned work into clear tasks, provide reliable estimates, update priorities with production, and deliver against agreed schedules.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team across art, design, engineering, production, and external development partners.
