The Challenge Ahead

Battlefield is a storied franchise renowned for uncompromising combat gameplay for over two decades. 100 million players and 5 billion hours played later, the Battlefield team is looking to define the future of the first-person shooter. United under the banner of Battlefield Studios, 4 world-class teams across Criterion, DICE, Motive and Ripple Effect – all powered by the Battlefield Central Technology (BCT) team – have come together to focus on the future of the franchise, a connected Battlefield universe filled with immersive experiences built on our unique DNA.

DICE is a creative studio with offices in Stockholm and Gothenburg. We believe in the power of inclusion and welcome game creators from all backgrounds to collaborate with us as we unlock the potential for the future of Battlefield!

We’re always pushing to be at the forefront of creative entertainment - blending digital art, design, and technology to push boundaries. Our collaborative culture is fueled by passion, driving innovation and making a positive difference for our players and community.

At DICE, your ideas matter. We offer an inclusive space where you can thrive, be yourself, and grow alongside a team dedicated to making a meaningful impact to the world of gaming.

Responsibilities:

As an intern we don't expect you to be productive straight away. Learning the tools and workflows will take time. The most important thing is for you to learn, ask questions and be curious. Once you are ready to take on production tasks, your lead, manager and mentors will guide and assist you along the way.

  • Become a part of the Level Design team, learning the workflows used at DICE and how to use said workflows in a production environment.

  • You will take part in designing levels or parts of levels and participate in creative iterations based on playtests and feedback from the wider team.

  • You will be part of a cross-disciplinary team and learn about how other disciplines work as you work together on delivering an excellent experience.

Eligibility:

  • You must be currently enrolled at university or education provider with a planned internship period planned into the education plan, (e.g. LiA)

  • You are eligible to work in Stockholm, Sweden, without the need for visa/relocation support

  • You are available to commence a full-time 6 month placement in January 2026.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in 3D Level Editors, such as Unreal Engine.

  • Passion for the Battlefield franchise and/or FPS games.

  • Strong creative problem-solving abilities.

  • Solid documentation skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Help us make play happen. Apply now with an up-to-date CV and Cover Letter in English, explaining why you would like to join EA for this internship position.
