We are looking for a motivated and curious accounting professional to support European close and reporting activities. This role works closely with finance teams across Europe and North America and offers hands-on exposure to financial reporting, technical accounting, FX, and process improvements. This role is an expertise/professional role with no people management.

European Close & Reporting

  • Contribute to key aspects of the European month-end close in partnership with regional finance teams.
  • Track close progress, flag issues, and contribute to accurate and timely reporting.
  • Review and present the consolidated European Balance Sheet Reporting and the associated key highlights for Corporate leadership during monthly close meetings

Technical Accounting & Contract Review

  • Review and/or prepare accounting assessments for complex accounting transactions,
  • Review and/or prepare cross-jurisdictional, inter company, capital transactions, including dividends, liquidations, M&A, etc.
  • Review new contracts and policies in coordination with Legal, Business, Corporate Technical Accounting and Finance teams.

FX, Projects & Process Improvements

  • Support FX-related accounting activities, including hedge forecasts and analysis.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives focused on automation, system enhancements, and data quality.
  • Use and enhance finance tools and reporting solutions as part of day-to-day work.
  • Share ideas that improve processes and help finance operate more efficiently.


Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent preferred or in progress.
  • 6+years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in a global or matrix environment.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS 
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders or supporting cross-functional projects.
  • Interesting learning, process improvement, and modern finance tools(Microsoft 365 including Power BI, Oracle, HFM a plus)
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage priorities with limited guidance.
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Passionate, enthusiastic team player
