Job Summary:

Come join EA's People Analytics, Talent Business Operations, & Strategic Workforce Planning organization, that helps support EA's talent strategy. We help EA's leaders make decisions on how to improve EA's workforce. You'll be part of EA's dynamic People Experience function where analytics plays a meaningful role.

You will report to a Senior Data Scientist within the People Analytics team and will be hybrid, based in our Vancouver office.

This is an 8-month full-time temporary role.

The Next Great People Analyst is

A bold thinker who is both analytical and motivated. You understand people, and enjoy using data and analytics to bring order to ambiguous problems, driving towards goals. You get excited about using insights from data to help make decisions. From building complex models to predict attrition, to building a people data lake house, you will be the Engine supplying the analytical power to help EA win in a complex talent marketplace.

Major Responsibilities and Related Activities

  • You will have end-to-end ownership of monthly headcount walk, including collection and reconciliation of Financial headcount plans and estimates, developing models/presentations, insights generation and partnership with senior leaders
  • You'll be a main contributor to internal People Analytics efforts to build a People Data Fabric across the suite of people technologies and insights platforms, including Visier, Glint, and Snowflake
  • You'll create monthly workforce reports that help guide important parts of EA's business
  • You'll partner with the People Analytics team to complete important insights/data projects, including building scalable data pipelines for recommendation systems
  • You will work with finance partners, resource managers, talent acquisition and HR leaders to deliver monthly Workforce Planning process

Qualifications and Skills

  • You bring an MBA or Master's degree (or higher) in a quantitative field. This field could be Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field: Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics, or Mathematics.
  • You have 2 years of experience in a quantitative field within HR, People Analytics, Workforce Planning, or Financial Planning
  • You have worked with technology focusing on HR Data or Analytics (e.g., Visier, Workday, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, and Snowflake)
  • You have experience delivering on high visibility analytical projects
  • You have experience evaluating trends and outliers and communicate clear, relevant insights that inform decision-making and achieve measurable results

Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$75,900 - $105,600 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
