Location: EA Redwood City, CA
Internship Duration: 12 weeks
Potential Post-Internship Opportunity: Full-Time | 27-Month Graduate Rotational Program

About Electronic Arts

At Electronic Arts (EA), we don’t just create games—we craft experiences. Behind every great game is a team of talented, passionate people, and our People Experience (PE) team plays a vital role in empowering them to thrive.

We’re excited to offer a People Experience Internship designed as a launchpad into our 27-month Graduate Rotational Program—a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience, solve meaningful challenges, and grow into a future HR leader.

What You’ll Do During the Internship

As a PE Intern, you’ll work side-by-side with industry professionals and gain firsthand exposure to our people strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Join a cross-functional team to tackle a real business challenge and present your ideas to senior leadership
  • Build meaningful connections across EA’s global PE organization
  • Partner with business teams on live projects, honing your project management and problem-solving skills
  • Use workforce data to uncover trends and drive decisions around engagement, equity, and retention
  • Where possible contribute to one or more of our ongoing PE programs, such as goal planning, performance management, talent planning, or compensation cycles

Post-Internship: Graduate Rotational Program Overview

If selected to continue, you’ll transition into a 27-month full-time rotational program designed to give you broad exposure and deep expertise across People Experience.

You’ll complete three core rotations:

1. People Experience Partnership

Work directly with a business unit to deliver key people programs and support their talent needs. You’ll deepen your understanding of how our business operates and strengthen your coaching, consulting, and relationship-building skills.

2–3. Centers of Excellence (Two Rotations)

You’ll rotate through two specialized PE teams to build technical expertise and strategic thinking in areas such as:

  • Employee Relations – Conflict resolution, performance coaching, and positive employee experiences
  • Talent Acquisition – Recruitment strategy, interviewing, onboarding, and talent pipeline planning
  • Total Rewards – Compensation philosophy, annual focal processes, bonus strategy, and global pay architecture
  • Talent & Analytics – Organizational effectiveness, change management, and data-driven insights
  • People & Policy – Labor relations, employee investigations, risk management, and EVP alignment
  • Inclusion – Collaborate on enterprise-wide inclusion efforts, ERG partnerships, and systemic equity reviews

What You’ll Gain

By the end of the program, you’ll have developed:

  • A well-rounded understanding of the People Experience function across multiple disciplines
  • Familiarity with our Talent Strategy and enterprise-wide people priorities
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to influence across teams and levels
  • Confidence in delivering clear, compelling communication across various audiences
  • A powerful internal network across EA’s global PE community

Shared Experiences for All Participants

No matter your rotation path, you’ll:

  • Partner with business leaders across the company
  • Participate in at least one cyclical PE program (e.g., Performance Review, Talent Planning)
  • Learn to navigate a global, fast-paced environment
  • Develop skills in influencing without authority, operating in ambiguity, and leading with empathy
  • Gain hands-on experience with PE systems, tools, and technologies
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and present your work to senior leadership

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related field
  • Passionate about creating meaningful, people-first workplace experiences
  • Adaptable, curious, and energized by challenge and change
  • A strong communicator with an analytical mindset and a bias for action
