PhD Software Engineer Internship
Contract: Temporary Full-Time - 6 months

Our in-house engine offers the unique ability to adapt to each game while working hand-in-hand to prioritise what to build. Our goal is to empower creators all over the world to bring their best ideas to life by creating an engine that amplifies innovation across every discipline.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for an accomplished and motivated Software Engineer Ph.D. Intern to join our team and help provide outstanding physics technology on consoles, PC, iOS, and Android.
- You will work on all aspects of software engineering, from design to testing and optimisation, as part of a highly skilled engineering team - a great opportunity to learn.
- You will have the opportunity to engage with game teams and other central technology groups around the globe.
Qualifications:
- You are currently studying towards a PhD degree (not a graduate).
- You are available to commence a full-time, 6 month placement in July 2025.
- You are located and eligible to work in Guildford, UK without the need for visa/relocation support
Desired Skills:
- Studying a degree around the simulation of physical systems, such as or similar to physics, maths, mechanical/space engineering, robotics, astrophysics, computer science or quantum biology.
- C++ programming experience in games, physics, graphics, numerical simulations
- Understanding of mechanics, maths, data-driven architectures, and numerical methods
