The Platform Strategy team defines how EA engages with Console, PC, Mobile, Cloud, and new platforms - aligning platform choices with franchise growth and long-term value. We manage platform intelligence, platform strategy integration, partner engagement, and EA's multi-year Platform Evolution roadmap.


Role Overview

We are looking for an MBA Intern, Platform Strategy for Summer 2026. Over 12 weeks, you will support the platform deliverables of our team and complete projects with presentations to decision leaders. You'll collaborate across Publishing, Corporate Strategy, Business Development, EA Platform and Studios, producing executive-ready materials that inform decisions.


What You'll Do

  • Maintain Platform Intelligence Guides with executive one-pagers and source database of on all platforms.

  • ­Manage the Platform Intelligence Newsletter - standardize the template, schedule, and editorial process; publish 2-3 newsletter to update internal partners.

  • ­Apply EA's Platform Decision Framework (criteria, measurements, trade-offs) through 1-3 platform focus areas and help prepare recommendations.

  • ­Prepare Platform Strategy deliverables to contribute to the planning process.

  • Research and summarize data/insights, and help draft recommendations.


Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a full-time MBA program graduating between December 2026 and June 2027

  • ­Skilled at preparing and delivering strategic content for senior audiences

  • Interest in the entertainment and video game industry

  • Familiarity with gaming platforms

  • Enjoy working with different teams and adapting when things change


What You'll Gain

  • Hands-on experience with platform strategy, franchise planning, and financial forecasting

  • Exposure to partner strategy discussions across Storefront, Network, Creator and Hardware ecosystems

  • Mentorship from leaders in Publishing and other EA functions; a portfolio of tangible deliverables (executive packages, newsletters, frameworks)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. 

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$39 - $84 USD

The hourly pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k).

Interns in California are also eligible for Voluntary Disability Insurance.
