We are looking for a Playtest Analyst [Quality Designer] who is passionate about data and data visualisation. Our mission is building a better game through objective analysis, and you will be challenged with telling compelling stories to our development partners using quantitative and qualitative data from internal playtests. You will report to the Playtest Director in the Experiential Quality group of Battlefield Quality Verification.
Responsibilities
You will partner with other data specialists to form the data strategy for the playtesting team.
You will collaborate with designers & development partners to identify data points to track.
You will analyse data using statistical modelling, predictive modelling, and other data analysis techniques.
You will produce reports and dashboards that support assessments of quality.
You will communicate results to designers, product managers, and others.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Experience with SQL, Python, and ML/AI.
Experience with a variety of data visualisation tools.
A player of first person shooter games
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
- $73,200 - $101,700 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
