Redwood City, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or Vancouver BC - Hybrid Work Model

Most companies call it HR. But at Electronic Arts, we made the deliberate decision to brand our organization People Experience (PE). PE is not just a play on words: it's a team of cultural stewards who carefully create programs and talent strategies that directly improve our teams' experience. For the better. We help our People achieve the most meaningful work of their careers. We're responsible for recruiting the best and most diverse talent on the planet. But it doesn't stop there. We also support their growth through learning programs, internal mobility, affinity group participation, and leadership development. We listen to our employees and dive into analytics to anchor our recommendations and decisions to keep engagement high. Last but not least, we're responsible for a total rewards strategy that incentivizes equitably, provides outstanding benefits, and ensures a safe and inspiring workplace for our teams.

About the Team

The PE Portfolio Management Office (PMO) is a strategic and operational team specializing in portfolio and project management. This team focuses on leading and delivering high-impact initiatives, such as mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, and other surge events. Our mission is to drive integration, sequencing, and consistency across the PE organization by managing complex project portfolios and supporting cross-functional collaboration throughout periods of significant transformation. Distinct from teams focused on daily PE operations, the PE PMO is dedicated to implementing global, enterprise-level projects and initiatives, enabling the organization's strategic goals and contributing to PE's operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in multiple deal phases from diligence through integration by:

    • Supporting the preparation of draft materials for deal strategy and implementation (e.g., diligence request list, diligence interview guide, workstream project plans, Day 1 plan, Post-Close Integration Plan), seeking input and review from more senior team members.

    • Participate in internal and external meetings as PE support during Deal activity (e.g., Management Calls, Diligence touchpoints), taking notes and capturing action items for subject matter experts.

    • Assist with developing and maintaining integration project plans, including timelines and resource tracking; monitor risks and issues, and escalate them for resolution.

    • Help maintain the M&A Playbook by updating content, capturing best practices, and tracking HR considerations in partnership with the broader team.

    • Cross-functional collaboration with PE COEs, Corp Dev, Legal, IT, Finance, and other key stakeholders.

  • Data

    • Partner with Corporate Development, Legal, or other PE COEs to build financial or employee models.

    • Aggregate and reconcile operational and deal-related data from multiple sources, including Legal, Finance, and Talent teams to support integrated reporting.

    • Support data analysis efforts by gathering project metrics and assisting in the preparation of dashboards and reports that provide deal insights.

  • Support surge projects by assisting with project documentation, tracking progress against milestones, and ensuring deliverables align with strategic goals and timelines.

  • This is an individual contributor role, reporting to the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) leader. You will work in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. Additionally, 3 or more years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Private Equity, Strategy Consulting, or a similar environment is necessary. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and related experience is acceptable. Experience in Human Resources is a plus.

  • Adept at data analysis using Google Sheets or MS Excel, with experience developing and delivering headcount, severance, or deal models that contribute to financial analysis and HR decision-making. Experience with Airtable, PowerBI, or Tableau is a plus.

  • Can develop presentations for senior leadership using Google Slides or MS PowerPoint.

  • Prior exposure to M&A or restructuring projects is desirable.

  • Experience supporting deal execution through organization, documentation, and follow-up on deliverables.

  • Experienced in balancing multiple responsibilities and prioritizing effectively in a dynamic environment

  • Comfortable working in a multi-stakeholder environment and experienced at collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Break down complex concepts for a variety of audiences; effective written and verbal communication skills connecting quantitative and qualitative data.
