You will focus on the NHL's development team from a production perspective, managing the active development, including roadmaps, scoping, dependencies, and release of content updates. You will take the lead as an internal developer's primary contact, working with developers on the creation of project and milestone schedules, and post-launch content update planning and overall development plans. You will report directly to the NHL Lead Producer and will partner with other Producers, Game Designers, Artists, and partner team members to further our product strategy.
Your Responsibilities
Partner with our development teams to ensure priorities can be completed and roadmaps are aligned
Identify and lead game plans to ensure our team and developers have goals, frameworks, and priorities needed to make the features you're responsible for. Ensuring a successful launch, on time and at quality.
Partner with business development, product management and creative teams to ensure we are making the right decisions for our developers and players, ensuring we are on track to achieve title goals.
Feedback on, improve, and take an active part in implementing product roadmap for the portfolio including pipelines and processes
Unblock critical issues/risks/blockers as they come up in different disciplines
Create & improve on process/collaboration methods over time
Help resolve unique, complex product issues through ingenuity, creativity, and any other means necessary
Work cross-functionally to create a healthy team culture based on communication, transparency, and shared context
Your Qualifications
7+ years experience in game production and have proven experience shipping AAA games
5+ years of people management and leadership experience driving outcomes
Experience shipping successful games in a Producer role or higher.
Formal experience in production and project management.
Expertise using production tools and multimedia software applications (Jira, Trello, Confluence, MS Project, etc.).
Experience leading complex projects with delivery of quality, schedule and in balancing scope, capacity, budget, risk, and time
Experience with video games, innovations in software, and how they enrich the player experience
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
