You will lead the dedicated China Team and hold final accountability in delivering the China version for success in China. The China Producer will report to the Executive Producer in EA Korea Studio.

The ideal candidate for the Producer, Unannounced 3A Project at Electronic Arts is a visionary leader. You have expertise in the Chinese gaming market, a track record in live service PC online games, and skills in collaboration. You excel in, multicultural environments, excel at translating market insights into applicable strategies, and are passionate about delivering world-class gaming experiences tailored to Chinese players.

Responsibilities:

  • You will define goals and create the strategy for the China business, aligning our development roadmap with internal and external partners.
  • You will translate Chinese user needs and market expectations into applicable product and service ideas for our project.
  • You will manage the development roadmap for the China build, ensuring technical feasibility, commercial viability, and agreement on our global direction.
  • You will guide the China-dedicated team, establishing organizational structure, core talent, and work methods to the market.
  • Use the support of the entire product development team and the development resources of the China-dedicated team to actually deliver the development roadmap for the China build.
  • Guide collaboration among multiple partners and partner teams, including publishing partners, the internal publishing organization, and the main development team.
  • Define and manage the organizational composition and structure, core talent, and work methods necessary for the success of the China-dedicated team, with all aspects of people management responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in the game industry in China, with a focus on PC online games and live service operations.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience managing live service products in the Chinese market, demonstrating commercial success and player engagement.
  • Minimum 2 years in a senior leadership or executive role, overseeing product development, team management, and partner agreement.
  • Experience working with international teams and publishing partners, within a global gaming organization.
  • Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities of launching and operating games in China, including regulatory, cultural, and business considerations.
  • We prefer a Bachelor's degree or higher in Game Design, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications or training in project management, product leadership, or related disciplines.
  • Visionary, with the ability to inspire and align diverse teams.
  • Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
  • Passionate about games and committed to delivering exceptional player experiences.

  • Someone with experience with games and an understanding of both Chinese & Korean market
