Our Team

Production Infrastructure & Engineering builds the platforms, tools, and services that power game development and live operations at EA. We work across infrastructure, product, and services engineering to help teams build, launch, and operate high-quality experiences at scale. Our focus is on accelerating development, making operations more reliable, and platform capabilities easier for studios to adopt.

The Role

As a Technical Product Manager Intern, you will support Product Management across a portfolio of internal platforms and services used by EA studios and engineering teams. You will work across both product and services engineering, helping the team identify opportunities, define problems clearly, evaluate technical and business trade-offs, and shape solutions that improve the developer experience, operational efficiency, and platform adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product Managers, Engineers, and internal stakeholders to understand problems, capture requirements, and translate needs into clear product outcomes.

  • Support product discovery by researching user pain points, current workflows, and platform opportunities across EA studios and internal engineering teams.

  • Analyze technical and business tradeoffs related to platform capabilities, adoption, reliability, usability, and operational efficiency.

  • Help define user stories, business cases, success metrics, and prioritization recommendations.

  • Contribute to product documentation, process flows, and stakeholder updates.

  • Evaluate how emerging technologies, including AI-assisted workflows, may improve internal developer and operational experiences.

  • Synthesize the findings into actionable recommendations for product and engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

  • A minor, coursework, or demonstrated interest in business, product management, strategy, or entrepreneurship is a plus.

  • Strong interest in technical product management, platform products, developer tools, cloud infrastructure, AI enablement, or internal enterprise systems.

  • Working knowledge of one or more cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, or modern infrastructure concepts.

  • Exposure to data, machine learning, or AI concepts, tools, or workflows

  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to break down ambiguous problems, ask good questions, and communicate structured recommendations.

  • Experience from coursework, projects, internships, research, or student organizations that demonstrates product thinking and technical curiosity.

At this time, we are considering Undergrad students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the fall of 2026, slated to graduate no earlier than Spring 2027. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 16-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
