We are looking for a motivated and highly qualified Production Assistant to support our SVP, Group General Manager of FC and contribute to the smooth operation of our Leadership Team while working closely with partnering teams. This is an incredibly unique opportunity to be part of a global team delivering a game that is played by hundreds of millions of players around the world.


The Role

The Production Assistant will work closely with the GM to manage organizational, operational and administrative tasks, ensuring the Leadership team meeting and events runs efficiently in a fast paced, highly dynamic and demanding environment. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow within the gaming and entertainment industry. The successful candidate will possess a high level of motivation, drive, and problem-solving abilities. They must be reliable, attentive to detail, and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and take on new challenges. Enthusiasm, resiliency, and self-organization are key traits, along with a professional demeanor and a team-first mentality.


Responsibilitie

Administrative Support


  • Assist the GM with daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, resolving meeting conflicts, expenses and coordinating travel arrangements.

  • Team meeting coordination (material preparation including agenda setting / outcome definition as appropriate and slide support, driving capture and comms of meeting actions, and select meeting leadership/chairing). 


Organizational Tasks


  •  Support the planning and execution of leadership team meetings.

  •  Review and update team trackers / follow up with LT on actions prior to meetings.

  •  Coordinate logistics for team meetings, workshops, and events.

  • Manage special projects and initiatives as directed (such as thorough research of specific issues; organizing team swag; collecting individual and team feedback on particular matters as needed).

  • Procure and summarize timely key industry, entertainment/culture, tech happenings.


Communication


  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communications, ensuring clear and effective information flow with leadership. 

  • Prepare and distribute memos, emails, and other communications on behalf of the GM.

  •  Draft and organize documents, and maintain digital records, share drives efficiently.

  • Assist in the creation of presentations and reports for various stakeholders.


Event Coordination


  • Assist in planning and organizing studio events, including team-building activities, training sessions, and external meetings.

  • Handle logistical aspects such as venue booking, catering, and event setup.

  • Track event budgets and provide post-event evaluations.


Learning and Development


  • Actively seek opportunities to learn about the game development process, including creative, business, operations and marketing.

  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to gain industry knowledge and skills.

  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards personal and professional development.


Qualifications & Expectations


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.

  • +3 years of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a creative or fast-paced environment or large organizations 

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Flexibility and willingness to adjust their schedule to accommodate the needs of our international business

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills / Excellent written skills 

  • Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and maintain a professional demeanor.

  • Strong eagerness to learn, enthusiasm for the role, resilience in facing challenges, and a team-first attitude.

  • Tech savvy, proactive in staying informed about emerging trends and being comfortable leveraging a variety of tools and platforms - including Google Workspace, Microsoft office Suite, Adobe and AI Tools to enhance productivity and efficiency of daily work.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $73,200 - $101,700 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
