The Challenge Ahead

We are DICE, the award-winning studio based in Stockholm, Sweden, best known for creating the phenomenally successful 20-years old Battlefield franchise. We believe our people are the backbone and driving force to our creative products, and are always looking for diverse game creators to help us build the best Battlefield experiences and make our studio the best in the industry.

We are looking for a Production Intern to join our team working on Battlefield, where you will report to a Core Combat Producer, focusing on Weapons, Gadgets and Vehicles.

Responsibilities:

As a Production Intern, you will support several aspects of the production process, including:

  • Articulate product/feature visions aligned with studio goals.
  • Collaborate with Creative and Design Leaders to ensure agreement with player needs.
  • Communicate Product, Milestone, and Sprint Focus.
  • Advocate for player needs by working with partners.
  • Prioritize features and content based on data and input.
  • Build project timelines with Product Owners and team members.
  • Support EA Partners, outsourcers, and vendors with clear plans.
  • Communicate decisions to stakeholders and teams.
  • Manage the sign-off process for each stage based on agreement with goals.
  • Identify risks and implement prevention and mitigation strategies.
  • Track and report development KPIs, including milestone/sprint reports and bug tracking.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain schedules and timelines aligned with the product roadmap.
  • Ensure Jira reflects the correct structure to support output.
  • Support Agile/Scrum/Waterfall meeting rituals, including planning and retrospectives.
  • Maintain an accurate backlog representing project scopes.
  • Manage project scope and prioritize issues for sprints

Qualifications:

  • You must be associated with a university education or any other type of education that has an internship period planned into the education plan, for example, LiA. 
  • You must reside in Sweden as we are not able to provide relocation or visa assistance.
  • You are available to start a full-time internship from September 2025

Desired Skills:

  • Articulate ideas and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Understanding of project timelines, scheduling, and task prioritization.
  • Experience working within teams to achieve common goals, especially in a creative environment.
  • Ability to identify potential risks and propose solutions.
  • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and related meeting rituals.
  • Use data and feedback to inform decisions.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira or other project management software.
  • Understanding of game design principles and player needs.
