What a Project & People Manager in Quality Verification does:

As a Project & People Manager within the Quality, Verification & Standards (QVS) you will manage a dedicated team on the assigned project. In your role, you will act as the keeper of the project schedule, budget and quality, playing a vital role in successfully moving the project from one phase to the next one, while ensuring a strong focus on quality, collaboration and communication. You will partner closely with Producers, Technical Directors and Development leaders to make sure that together, we deliver on promise.

 

Talent management:

  • Hire and onboard new team members;
  • Motivate and manage the performance of team members;
  • Identify and create learning opportunities, to develop the talent inside the team:
  • Improve team’s effectiveness by incorporating new strategies;
  • Foster a safe, creative and supportive team environment;
  • Develop a team culture based on openness, trust, and collaboration;

Project Management:

  • Work with the project team, peers and partners to ensure that quality, budgets, and timelines are met;
  • Determine the resource requirements and plan the capacity to cover the assigned scope;
  • Establish the project budget and monitor actuals versus planned;
  • Identify and mitigate risks for assigned scope;
  • Provide regular status reporting and capacity plan updates;
  • Improve operational effectiveness of team effort by assessing current practices, incorporating new strategies, and transforming ways of working.

 

Your profile:

  • 7+ years experience in project and people management;
  • Knowledge and understanding of software development lifecycle;
  • Experience in several project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Excellent stakeholder management;
  • Experience in working with multicultural/ distributed teams;
