Job Summary 

As an Automation lead you will report on-site to the Development Director in the EA Bogota office. You will act as a Subject Matter Expert responsible for understanding and facilitating the full scope of the group's automation initiatives, and report on their outcomes. You will also guide teams in identifying and implementing advanced automation opportunities within their respective areas, collaborating with internal and external partners at various levels as needed.


Your Responsibilities

Automation Strategy and Implementation

  • Propose and own small-medium scope automation strategies and implement from start to finish.

  • Enable others to contribute to automation and support their learning journey.

  • Guide others in determining what and how to automate in their own respective areas.

  • Recommend and help implement new tools or features to enable future efficiency opportunities.

Quality and Data Analysis

  • Compile data from multiple sources into cohesive summaries to communicate status and risk.

  • Translate project metrics into data-driven decisions and strategies

  • Use different testing methodologies and analyze feature sets for automation opportunities (Risk-based Testing, Data/AI-driven testing, and more).

  • Use development tools to guide issue identification upstream and promote defect prevention.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Be a communication bridge between development partners and QA teams.

  • Provide technical, quantitative, and qualitative feedback.

  • Represent the QA perspective in meetings, ensuring quality standards are prioritized.

Mentorship and Team Support

  • Lead improvements and knowledge sharing across teams.

  • Mentor and support team members in implementing quality strategies and professional growth


Our Requirements

Experience and Knowledge

  • 3+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on scenario scripting and designing node-based workflows.

  • Proven ability to train and support team members in automation tool adoption, and in identifying advanced automation opportunities.

  • Proficient with defect and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)

  • Proficient in the creation and management of test strategy evolution anchored in Defect prevention, containment, and early QA involvement.

  • Experience owning continuous improvement initiatives and implementing from start to finish.

  • Experience using telemetry and data analytics to enhance test insight and impact.

  • Experience using technology (e.g. automation, data analysis) to enhance player satisfaction. 

  • Experience with software development practices, system architecture, and development risks.

  • Experience driving tech-enhanced testing using modern development tools and frameworks.

  • Practical experience applying AI/ML solutions to improve automation efficiency is preferred.
