About the Role: 4 Month Contract role as a Quality Designer, you will be responsible for developing innovative quality practices to enhance the overall quality across all EA teams. You will play a crucial role in supporting the AI development  strategy for the Battlefield campaign, reporting to the Campaign QV Development Director and partnering directly with the Producer and/or other Designers to establish quality standards and provide both quantitative and qualitative feedback on feature Development.


🔑Your Responsibilities

Quality Strategy and Test Planning

  • Leverage testing skills and methodologies to systematically test the product and share results

  • Design, develop, and lead quality strategies for owned features

  • Implement pre-integration build verification and reporting processes

  • Research and propose solutions for increasing test coverage efficiency

  • Identify risks and plan testing for releases

  • Document reproduction steps, gather test data, and assist in debugging

Quality and Data Analysis

  • Compile data from multiple sources into cohesive summaries to communicate status and risk

  • Use different testing methodologies and analyze feature sets for automation opportunities (Risk-based Testing, Data/AI-driven testing and more)

  • Monitor game builds and follow up on fixes to ensure quality goals are met

  • Perform design testing reviews, ensuring the design is captured and identifying bugs and user concerns before they make it into software.

  • Use development tools to guide issue identification upstream and promote defect prevention.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Communicate status and risk through cohesive summaries

  • Serve as the communication bridge between development partners and QA teams

  • Provide technical, quantitative, and qualitative feedback

  • Represent the QA perspective effectively in meetings, ensuring quality standards are prioritized.

Mentorship and Team Support

  • Lead improvements and knowledge sharing across teams

  • Promote professional growth within the QA team

  • Mentor and support team members in implementing quality strategies



✅ Our Requirements 

Experience and Knowledge

  • 4+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or game design

  • Experience with the Frostbite Game Engine 

  • Experience in owning AI development from a QA perspective

  • Familiarity with automated testing and common automation tool sets

  • Understanding of game modding tools or user-generated content workflows

  • Experience with defect and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)

  • Project Management for planning and execution of test strategy and tasks using Scrum/Agile process

  • Experience working with game engines and associated tool sets

  • Experience with game rendering, performance, and memory requirements

  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum software/game development

  • In-depth knowledge of current generation console testing and software development kits

Skills and Abilities

  • Understand concepts of defect prevention and containment

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

  • Experience with Grey/White box testing in development environments

  • Translate project metrics into data-driven decisions and strategies

  • Passion for creating high-quality player experiences
