You will work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).

Our shipped titles include critically acclaimed multi-platform games Apex Legends, Titanfall, Titanfall 2, Star Wars TM Jedi: Fallen Order, and Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond. 


We are looking for a QA Automation Expert for our Apex Legends team. You will report to the Development Manager/Director in the EA Bogota office. You will contribute to the team's automation initiatives by developing scripts, maintaining workflows, and supporting the integration of automation into daily testing practices. You will also help teams in implementing advanced automation opportunities within their respective areas, collaborating with internal and external partners at multiple levels.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and implementation of automation scripts, workflows, and small-scale frameworks.

  • Help execute automation strategies defined by senior team members or leads.

  • Identify opportunities for automation within assigned features and propose practical solutions.

  • Collect and organize test data to provide visibility into feature quality and test coverage.

  • Support analysis of automation results to highlight risks, defects, or opportunities for improvement.

  • Apply basic testing methodologies (e.g., regression, risk-based testing) to identify automation candidates.

  • Work with QA teams and, development partner, ensure alignment on automation needs.

  • Represent automation status in team discussions, ensuring coverage and quality are visible.

  • Build knowledge of automation tools, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to both learn and contribute back to the team.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on scenario scripting and designing node-based workflows.

  • Experience supporting team members in automation tool adoption and in identifying automation opportunities.

  • Proficient in defect and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)

  • Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and implementing from start to finish.

  • Experience using telemetry and data analytics to enhance test insight and impact.

  • Experience using technology (e.g. automation, data analysis) to enhance player satisfaction. 

  • Experience with software development practices, system architecture, and development risks.

  • Experience driving tech-enhanced testing using modern development tools and frameworks.

  • Practical experience applying AI/ML solutions to improve automation efficiency.
