We are looking for a Playtest Designer (User Researcher/Quality Designer) who is passionate about the user experience of first person shooters. Our mission is building a better game through objective analysis, and you will be challenged with providing valuable insights for the Battlefield team by designing, interpreting, and reporting on multiple internal experiential playtests per day. You will work hybrid (3 days per week) out of EA's Stockholm studio and report directly to the Playtest Manager (Europe) in the Experiential Quality group of Battlefield Quality Verification.

Responsibilities

  • You will collaborate with Designers, Producers, and Experiential Quality team members to design playtests that answer critical questions for Battlefield.

  • You will use surveys, telemetry, and other methodologies to produce insights and report to the Battlefield team in a compelling style.

  • You will evaluate and improve feedback coming from playtesters in partnership with playtest vendor leads.

  • You will expand the team's capabilities by improving and adding to the techniques used by Playtest Designers.

  • You will provide requirements for data processing and analysis tooling to assist with your work.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in game development.

  • Experience collaborating across departments and locations.

  • Experience with first person shooter games.
