Software Engineer I (C#/Unity) – QVS Mobile Automation

Location: Hyderabad, India

Work Model: Hybrid

About QVS Mobile

The QVS Mobile team at Electronic Arts builds and maintains the core automation frameworks, pipelines, and tools that empower mobile game development across EA studios. Our mission is to enable efficient, scalable, and reliable development by building robust automation systems and technical solutions that streamline validation, build processing, and delivery. We’re looking for a Software Engineer I with solid C# development skills and a strong interest in game development and automation frameworks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing clean, maintainable code and wants to apply engineering skills to improve how mobile games are tested, validated, and shipped. You’ll collaborate with engineers across gameplay, build, and QA teams to deliver automation solutions that enhance speed and quality in production environments.

Role Summary

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks, tools, and systems supporting EA’s mobileprojects.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient C# code, often integrated with Unity editor and runtimeenvironments.
  • Partner with development, build, and QA teams to expand automation capabilities and streamlinemobile game workflows.
  • Support automation pipelines, investigate issues, and ensure stability across projects.
  • Contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and process improvements within the automationteam.
  • Learn from senior engineers and actively participate in the evolution of EA’s mobile automationecosystem.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of professional software development experience, primarily using C#.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, software design patterns, and data structures.
  • Familiarity with Unity Engine and mobile game development workflows.
  • Interest or prior exposure to automation framework or tool development.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity,GitHub Actions).
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Enthusiasm for improving development efficiency through engineering and automation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong scripting ability in C# and at least one other scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript,Lua, or shell scripting).
  • Experience developing or contributing to automation frameworks, pipelines, or internal developer tools.
  • Familiarity with build automation, continuous integration, and test execution systems.
  • Understanding of agile development, test-driven development (TDD), and modern automationpractices.
  • Exposure to mobile development platforms (Android, iOS) and related build toolchains.
