Title – Senior Accountant II, Revenue Accounting (Global Finance Center, Hyderabad)

Location – Hyderabad

Work model & Shift – Hybrid (3 days per week from office); Timings that overlaps with US (PST hours)

You will be reporting to the Manager, Revenue Accounting, Global Finance Center, Hyderabad

 Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end revenue billings for complex digital portfolios, including both system-integrated streams via Oracle and manual billings for non-integrated sources.
  • Post JEs, including Sales Accruals, Close Cash, Fee Actuals, and Intercompany (ICO) 
  • Prepare and analyze key financial reports, including:
    1. Transaction Register
    2. Account Analysis Download Reports
    3. Trial Balance Reports
  • Perform cash reconciliations and ERP reconciliations for ORI portfolios.
  • Own and prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring resolution of variances and outstanding items.
  • Support revenue streams billings that are fully integrated with Oracle, as well as those requiring manual input or offline tracking.
  • Raise, monitor, and escalate IT tickets related to billing and source data discrepancies.
  • Participate in Oracle ERP upgrades and system testing; validate results and report issues.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements across revenue accounting workflows.
  • Act as back-up support for other revenue analysts and contribute to shared knowledge and coverage.
  • Actively engage in weekly and monthly update meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional accounting qualification such as CA / ICWA / CMA
  • 8-10 years of experience in accounting, revenue operations, or shared service 
  • Good accounting skills and understanding of revenue recognition.
  • Proficient in ERP & Revenue systems, Microsoft excel, other collaboration tools in Microsoft Suite.
