Job Summary:

Join us at Electronic Arts (EA), a global leader in interactive entertainment. You will help shape the financial story behind iconic franchises like EA SPORTS FC™, Apex Legends™, and The Sims™. As Senior Financial Accountant I, you will report to our Controllership Manager in Geneva and support U.S. GAAP reporting for international headquarters and holding entities in Switzerland. You will work with us in a collaborative, inclusive environment that values creativity, learning, and authenticity, helping us deliver unforgettable experiences to millions of players.

Responsibilities:

  • You will support month-end close activities by preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and conducting variance analysis for multiple European entities, ensuring accuracy through review procedures.

  • You will contribute to European reporting packages and statutory financial statements, aligning group reporting standards with local statutory requirements for assigned entities.

  • You will maintain internal controls and documentation, providing audit support and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across our European operations.

  • You will collaborate with partners on accounting matters, contributing to process documentation and improvement projects that increase data quality and simplify finance workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, with ACA/ACCA, DEC, DSCG, or equivalent professional accounting/audit qualification.

  • 3+ years of financial accounting or audit experience in a multinational environment.

  • Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and statutory reporting for European entities using Microsoft 365 tools.

  • Fluent in English, with experience collaborating across international teams to support finance projects and reporting enhancements.
