Summary

The Data & Insights (D&I) team transforms data into actionable insights that power EA. We guide strategy and governance, build data and AI solutions, and ensure personalization experimentation and analytics; partnering across teams to improve decisions and create more meaningful player experiences.

Reporting to the Director of Analytics, you will have an impact on all game systems in EA  SPORTS titles, such as Madden Mobile, one of the world's biggest sports gaming franchises.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze player behavior, feature performance, economy health, retention, engagement, and monetization in Madden Mobile and similar mobile sports titles.

  • Partner with Product Managers and Designers to translate business questions into clear, actionable insights.

  • Build dashboards and presentations that communicate performance trends, recommendations, and success criteria to team members.

  • Design telemetry and partner with Data Engineering to improve data quality and scalable analysis.

  • Develop expertise in EA SPORTS titles’ datasets to identify opportunities for product optimization.

  • Model, simulate, and run experiments on complex gameplay systems throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of professional experience informing product strategy with data analysis in gaming or adjacent digital products with high independence.

  • Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related discipline).

  • Expert–level SQL proficiency with experience extracting insights from complex datasets.

  • Experience designing self-service dashboards using Tableau, Looker, or other similar tools.

  • Experience using Python or similar for analysis, modeling, segmentation, experimentation, or hypothesis testing.

  • Familiarity with mobile live service games, player retention, economy systems, or American football.
