Reporting to a Team Lead, you will be part of a growing space focused on analysis around products and features currently in development within the FC ecosystem. We’re seeking someone with the passion and ability to drive data-informed decision making across all stages of game production such as building the foundations for reporting, exploring and modeling data, and crafting compelling insights that shape exceptional player experiences.

What you'll do on our team:

  • Support with analytic modelling around potential opportunities & risks associated with feature design decisions based on how players engage with our FC titles.

  • Work with the development team to set up game telemetry and ensure in-game behaviour can be reported on and analysed during feature testing phases.

  • Collaborate with partner teams to provide analysis on player behaviour throughout testing for the purposes of refining features before launch, leveraging both qualitative and quantitative data.

  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and appropriate targets to measure feature performance against expectations.

  • Perform strategic analysis on the behaviour of players to identify opportunities to improve the player experience after new features are released.

  • Receive questions from our partners, determine the best ways that our data can help answer them, and provide insights through reports, presentations, and/or dashboards.

  • Lead presentations to diverse audiences including senior management.

What we're looking for:

  • A degree in a quantitative discipline (Analytics, Data Science, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics)

  • 3+ years of experience in an analytics role performing quantitative analysis with big data to guide product decisions.

  • 2+ years of experience independently managing projects and building analysis plans with clear goals & timelines.

  • Expertise in SQL and ability to extract data from large data sources with differing structures.

  • Proficiency analysing large datasets in programmatic analysis tools (e.g. Python, R).

  • Experience with data visualisation software (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).

  • Experience in statistical modelling (e.g. regression, clustering, predictive modelling).

  • Experience translating business questions into clear event tracking specifications and working cross-functionally to ensure data is reliably captured.

  • Passion for playing and thinking about games is considered a plus.
