Join D&I to work with experts dedicated to improving understanding, workflows, and player experiences.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join the analytics team supporting two new mobile titles in development. You will use data analysis to support product managers, designers, and game developers in enhancing player experiences and achieving business goals.

This is a hybrid remote/in-office role based in Vancouver. You will report into the Senior Manager of Analytics.

What You'll Do

  • Analyse player and product data to uncover patterns and recommend opportunities to improve acquisition, retention, engagement, and monetization

  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualisations that help stakeholders make better, faster decisions

  • Collaborate with product and design teams to define metrics, design experiments, and evaluate results from A/B tests or other studies

  • Contribute to the development of predictive models and other applications of machine learning that personalise player experiences or support product decisions

  • Explore and apply generative AI tools to increase the efficiency of your own work and support scalable insights

  • Work with partners to define the right questions to ask and the right data to use, helping embed data in daily decision-making

  • Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences

What You'll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis or applied analytics, in gaming, mobile apps, or other digital products

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets; experience with analysis and modelling in Python or R

  • Understanding of core statistical methods such as regression, classification, and forecasting

  • Experience with or interest in using machine learning and generative AI tools to support analytics or player insights

  • Familiarity with machine learning or generative AI tools for analytics workflows

  • Experience with visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau

  • You will use storytelling to convert business objectives into analytical questions, and communicate results with practical recommendations and actionable steps.
