A place where creativity thrives, new perspectives are invited, and ideas matter. A team where everyone makes play happen.

The future of entertainment is interactive, and our Marketing team plays an important role in this future by building content, culture, and community around our brands. We empower audiences to Play, Create, Watch, and Connect across our amazing franchises and experiences, including The Sims, Madden NFL, EA SPORTS FC, Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes, Golf Clash, and more. We’re a multi-functional group with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and putting our franchises at the center of the broader entertainment ecosystem. This is your opportunity to join the internal design team supporting The Sims.

Our ideal candidate has a track record of contributing to globally recognized brands in organizations that expect nothing less than A+ work. This candidate thrives in a collaborative environment, adapts well to a constantly evolving industry, brings strong practical knowledge of brand and digital design, and carries positive energy that benefits the greater team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support ACDs and GCDs in the design, concepting, and execution of The Sims brand identity across key player touch points.

  • Develop and execute brand design solutions for The Sims franchise, including key art, logos, typography, color, graphic elements, iconography, motion-based design, campaign extensions, and presentation materials.

  • Translate high-level creative direction into thoughtful, polished visual systems and executions across in-game and out-of-game channels.

  • Partner with studio, marketing, and live services teams to support a cohesive brand experience across product, campaigns, social, retail, experiential, film, environmental, and print.

  • Contribute to marketing campaigns and live services content from a brand design point of view, ensuring work feels consistent, player-relevant, and aligned to The Sims creative direction.

  • Build compelling presentation decks that clearly communicate concepts, campaign thinking, visual direction, design systems, and executional guidance for internal reviews and partner alignment.

  • Support senior leadership and the creative team in preparing work for stakeholder reviews, including shaping narratives, refining design details, and incorporating feedback across multiple rounds.

  • Provide design direction and feedback to internal designers as needed, helping maintain quality and consistency across day-to-day deliverables.

  • Work with external agencies and vendors by supporting briefs, providing creative guidance, reviewing work, and helping keep deliverables aligned to brand standards and production needs.

  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of The Sims brand style guide, supporting internal and external teams in applying brand rules consistently.

  • Interpret creative feedback, audience insights, and performance data into iterative design improvements across campaigns, presentations, and brand systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of branding, art direction, or design experience at a brand, entertainment, gaming, or design agency.

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand design, art direction, typography, layout, and visual system development across digital, social, print, experiential, environmental, and campaign channels.

  • Strong understanding of brand design systems, design trends, and best practices, with the ability to apply them across franchise, campaign, product, and live service needs.

  • Experience developing and executing cohesive visual systems, campaign assets, presentation materials, and brand guidelines across multiple formats and partner teams.

  • Collaborative and flexible creative partner who can work closely with ACDs, GCDs, designers, studio teams, marketing, live services, external agencies, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Solid communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design thinking, support creative reviews, respond to feedback, and help build alignment across teams.

  • Strong deck-building and presentation design skills, with the ability to organize creative narratives and translate concepts into clear, compelling visual presentations.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and rounds of feedback.

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud.

  • Experience with game UI design, 3D, motion design, video and photoshoot direction is a plus.
