Senior Creative: Concept & Copy, EA Sports NHL & UFC

Hybrid – Not Remote

The EA SPORTS NHL and UFC team is looking for an inspirational Senior Creative to help shape the next evolution of our marketing campaigns. We want a teammate who loves these sports as much as they love creating standout work.

As the Sr. Creative, you’ll report to the Associate Creative Director and work across marketing campaigns for EA SPORTS NHL and UFC titles. This role supports the writing, concept development, and campaign tone for marketing creative on both titles. You’ll also be expected to manage quality of creative produced and help drive ideas from start to finish alongside internal teams and external production partners.

YOU WILL PLAY AN INSTRUMENTAL ROLE IN:

  • Partnering with internal Creative, Strategy, and Brand teams to develop creative responses and campaign treatments that bring our strongest ideas to life. This is exciting creative work that entertains our players and moves the business forward.
  • Helping shape creative concepts and copy across campaign phases, including product reveals, deep dives, and supporting content. Crafting work that gets players excited to jump in and welcomes the next generation.
  • Partnering with Brand and cross-functional teams to develop and uphold our tone of voice across brand and product-level campaigns, under the guidance of creative leadership
  • Copyediting and proofreading all materials submitted by outside partners as needed

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • 3–6 years of experience in a creative role with a focus on conceptual writing and content ideation/creation. Agency, in-house, or with a professional team or league is a plus. 
  • Strong collaborator and communicator with proven experience delivering creative across a range of marketing and content executions.
  • Curious, conceptual thinker with a strategic mindset; your ability to elevate storytelling and scripts is essential to this role.
  • Experience working on brand and product campaigns from vision to completion, driving the work end-to-end.
  • Self-starter in a fast-moving environment, able to multitask and manage projects and workload with confidence.
  • Finger on the pulse of sports culture, with a strong understanding of the NHL and UFC cultural/creative landscape. Video game knowledge is not a must but will be considered a big asset. 

 



Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$91,100 - $126,900 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
