Job Title: Senior Data Analyst, FinTech

Position Summary

The Finance organization at EA is transforming how technology, data, and analytics drive smarter decisions and enable automation across all Finance functions. As part of this evolution, the FinTech team is building scalable solutions that integrate data, AI, and automation to power real-time insights and continuous improvement.

We are seeking an Senior Analyst to help produce finance technology solutions, manage semantic data models, and support the delivery of AI-enabled analytics across Finance. This role will work closely with the local FinTech Manager and the broader Finance Technology and Data & Insights teams to turn solution designs into production-ready tools and models that support EA’s Finance Transformation roadmap.

This position is ideal for an early-career professional with strong Power BI skills, foundational data modeling experience, and curiosity for AI and automation.

Workplace guidance: Onsite at EA location for a minimum of three days a week

Responsibilities & Outcomes

Solution Production & Model Development

  • Translate functional design and prototype dashboards into production-ready Power BI models and reports.
  • Build and maintain semantic data models to support Finance performance, planning, and automation use cases.
  • Apply data transformation and optimization techniques to improve refresh speed, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Partner with engineers and analysts to validate data quality and maintain governance standards.

Data, AI & Innovation

  • Support implementation of new use cases involving AI and machine learning for Finance analytics and forecasting.
  • Contribute to data model innovation by integrating new datasets and enhancing model relationships.
  • Assist in documenting data lineage, transformations, and semantic structures for transparency and reuse.
  • Participate in proof-of-concept projects exploring AI and automation opportunities across Finance processes.

Collaboration & Enablement

  • Work with the FinTech Manager and cross-functional partners to align production solutions with global Finance standards.
  • Support rollout and adoption of new reports, dashboards, and automation tools within Finance.
  • Contribute to process improvements, reusable templates, and technical documentation for future projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data modeling.
  • Hands-on experience building reports and semantic models in Power BI.
  • Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, and data transformation principles.
  • Exposure to AI concepts, machine learning workflows, or predictive modeling.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Finance, Data, or Technology projects in a large enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud data environments or modern data architectures.

Basic understanding of Python, SQL, or data automation workflows
