Senior Director, Corporate Development

Join EA's Corporate Development team where original ideas and driving results are highly valued.

We're looking for an experienced Corporate Development leader to join our M&A and investments team in the Bay Area. EA's Corporate Development team is responsible for the origination, evaluation, and execution of M&A, investments, and strategic partnerships globally across EA. The group partners with the company's executive management and business leaders to: (i) identify growth opportunities for EA (ii) source and evaluate strategic projects to capitalize upon these opportunities and (iii) lead the transaction execution and integration process. You will report to the VP of Corporate Development and work in a hybrid work model, in our Redwood City office 3 days a week.

Primary Responsibilities

· You will comprehensively lead the evaluation and execution of M&A opportunities and strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, investments, and strategic partnerships – from sourcing and origination through to signing, close, and integration

· You will partner closely with EA's global business leaders to understand their business priorities, identify new growth opportunities, and bring these opportunities to fruition

· You will work across EA, leading large cross-functional M&A teams to drive projects to successful completion

· You will represent the company externally, fostering and sustaining connections with industry partners, leaders, and entrepreneurs

· You will synthesize and summarize complex opportunities through the lens of EA's business strategy & goals. Using these conclusions, you will develop recommendations and presentations for EA's business leaders, executive management, and board of directors.

· You will lead the quantitative and qualitative analysis supporting M&A business cases, including financial analyses, market & risk analyses, and due diligence

· You will monitor and assess market trends in gaming, entertainment, technology, and related sectors

Experience & Skills

· 10+ years of work experience in corporate development, at an investment bank (preferably in an M&A group), or private equity firm

· Manage stakeholders across all levels within and outside the company

· Significant M&A transaction experience in gaming, entertainment, or technology

· Strong business sense and ability to understand complex issues

· A personal interest in the business of games, entertainment, and technology

· Navigate uncertainty

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics or a related field

· MBA degree preferred


Pay Transparency - North America

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$210,600 - $320,000 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
