Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Director, Generative AI Engineering with a strong background in cloud computing, full-stack application development, and large-scale software architecture. This role demands expertise in enterprise software engineering, a deep understanding of Generative AI technologies, and a proven ability to lead high-performing, globally distributed engineering teams.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned software engineering leader with experience in cloud-native architectures, DevOps, CI/CD, and security best practices. While prior GenAI experience is a plus, the primary focus is on building scalable, high-performance applications that integrate heterogeneous data sources and modern GenAI models.

This position is open to experienced software engineering leaders who have a passion for GenAI-driven applications and a track record of delivering complex enterprise solutions. The candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing EA’s AI Technologies Team, contributing to an enterprise AI ecosystem providing tools, services, and platforms for AI-powered applications. These technologies power AI-driven assistants and enterprise AI services across EA’s corporate and studio teams.

This team operates like a startup within the company, requiring agility, rapid iteration, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly across diverse teams and time zones. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, is comfortable working across non-traditional swim lanes, and is adept at coordinating globally distributed, virtual teams.
