TEAM OVERVIEW 

Quality Verification & Standards (QVS) is a global team leading Quality Verification, Certification, User Research, and Community PlayTesting for all EA products and external Studio partners. 

We're searching for a Sr. Director of Product Management for QV in the Respawn Los Angeles location. You will report to the Head of Quality Verification - Respawn and be part of a dynamic team of leaders. You will lead a diverse team focused on ensuring the quality of Respawn’s titles meet expectations. You and your team will be integrated partners in the Respawn product development organization, ensuring we meet the highest standards of Quality in collaboration with the Development team. 

You will demonstrate an analytical approach to assessing quality and be comfortable making data-informed & objective decisions to guide the path forward for your team, peers & partners. You understand change management and can apply your leadership skills to develop your team’s ability to anticipate and exceed product and partner requirements. You are collaborative, build relationships and excel at working with multiple partners. This is a progressive, strategic role, with opportunity for changing how we deliver quality. 

Responsibilities 

  • Work with the QV team and Dev Leadership to create a Strategic plan for Quality delivery, that focuses on test quality, product readiness and transformative delivery. 
  • Assess product quality progress against expectations at regular milestones with multiple inputs from multiple teams.
  • Measure progress and suggest top-level actions to address progress shortfalls. Commit to predictable product quality and manage risk around it to set and deliver the best Quality practices on Respawn franchises
  • A people manager & team leader. Set inspiring & measurable goals, guide the team toward them, and measure progress
  • Set an inclusive culture. Be communicative and an agent for constructive change within QVS & your immediate team, whether through town halls, reviews, or workshops.

Qualifications 

  • Have shipped high-quality console titles as an Executive Producer / Lead producer with 10+ years of experience in game development.
  • Influence-oriented. Excel at collaborating with other leaders and guiding the collective group to the best action, decision, or result. You have experience working with creative leaders, UXR, marketing, and quality verification teams.
  • People connector who inspires others toward shared goals. Pioneers change
  • A continuous improvement mindset.
  • Can track, model, and present information in engaging ways.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $185,300 - $278,800 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
