We are horizontal connectors empowering teams across the Experiences organization with the strategic prioritization, investments, resources, data, insights and technology required to accelerate business outcomes in service of our goals.

Director of Sales, EA Advertising & Sponsorships


As Sr. Director of Sales, EA Advertising & Sponsorships, you will be responsible for owning and delivering 8 figure global revenue forecasts across our AAA games portfolio. You will liaise with every aspect of this fast growing business working closely with studio leadership, brand leadership, legal, finance, and the rest of the A&S LT both operationally and strategically. This pivotal role requires a compelling mix of sales experience and relationship building alongside strong creative and analytical skills. As Director of Sales, you will be responsible to define the enterprise level advertising strategy for their respective verticals across EA’s robust portfolio of products. You will pioneer in this growing revenue stream, maximizing value across EA’s experiences and consumer touch points through B2B advertising and sponsorship activations. You will be the top-down, long-term strategic visionary and bottoms-up execution-focused growth operator. 


Working closely with the VP EA Advertising & Sponsorships you and your team will contribute to the go to market strategy and delivery of our revenue targets, as well as managing key executive level relationships with brands and their agencies. You will accelerate the growth, innovation and transformation of our advertising business by:

Responsibilities

  • Leading, nurturing and managing an engaged, high performing and entrepreneurial sales team 

  • Ownership of their verticals, building, maintaining and leveraging senior level commercial relationships in service of delivering EA’s advertising revenues YoY

  • Participate in the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting process in collaboration with Finance, Revenue Strategy and Product teams 

  • Building a robust pipeline of opportunities across the EA portfolio leveraging brand relationships and agency oversight 

  • Partnering with A&S Insights to help drive change throughout the organisation in support of inventory adoption and expanding the A&S footprint 

  • Owning inventory and package pricing over product and service life cycle to maximize revenue whilst maintaining long term customer value perception for our brands 

  • Championing change and process improvement when new opportunities arise in this rapidly evolving industry space


Your Qualifications:

  • 12+ years experiences leading multi-disciplinary sales teams & managers

  • Demonstrated ability to establish and grow new business from inventory development, packaging, and execution.

  • Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and flawless execution

  • Successful track record of building and developing high-performing teams

  • Experience collaborating with advertising technology teams

  • Comfortable managing and working with distributed/remote teams

  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$210,600 - $320,000 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
